The guides describe public websites, typical contents of Italian civil and church registers, and a careful way to ask an office for a family-history copy. They are not a finding aid for a particular archive. Holdings, image quality, indexes and access rules change. Check the current page of the archive or portal before you rely on a path described here.
Names in the examples are illustrative. They are not claims that a person by that name was found in a register. A last-name map shows where a spelling clustered in a phone book or a similar list. It does not prove that your family came from the darkest comune on the map.
DNA company labels are models. They change when a company updates its reference panel. A region label is not a town of birth, and it is not evidence for any legal status.
If you pay a comune, a parish or an archive, you are paying that office. We do not control the fee, how long the office takes, or the answer. The kit, when it is sold, is a file download of educational material under the refund terms on the kit page.
